The Role
Supporting the Restaurant Manager and supervising a daily shift team of 8-10 waiting staff with responsibility for the service standards of food and beverage to residents, guests and local visitors. Service for guests covers breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days per week so candidates must be available for flexible shift patterns across 5 days including weekends. We also operate a range of beautiful private dining rooms for functions, weddings, celebrations, conferences and other events.
Main Duties Include
Supporting the Restaurant Manager & Assistant Restaurant Manager
Preparing the restaurant for service
Meeting and greeting guests
Coaching employees to develop their skills and ensure service standards are met
Supervising Restaurant sections
Hosting
Taking guest orders
Serving food and beverage including alcoholic beverages
Completing satisfaction checks and action all feedback
Resolving any service issues
Presenting bills to guests and taking payment
Resetting the restaurant at the end of the shift ready for the next service

Requirements
Smart appearance and a passion for food & beverage
Excellent communication skills with a passion for guest service
Supervisory experience within a quality food service hotel/restaurant required
Ability to manage and motivate the team of waiting team to ensure excellence
Must have your own transport due to rural location.
