The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of a Junior Chef to join our team, preparing fresh food to high standards. This role is suitable for a focused individual who can work in a fast paced environment. You will report to the Kitchen Manager & focus on delivering the daily tasks
Main Duties:
Delivering these daily duties and responsibility, that include but not exclusive to
Food preparation - ensuring kitchen & ingredients are prepared in advance of service.
Food service - ensure food service is conducted in an orderly manner with the highest levels of quality. This is all to be achieved in a timely manner.
Site cleanliness/Standards - ensuring that the cafe confirms to the exceptional standards needed to give a customer experience that is second to none.
Product presentation - Food presentation should be creative and appealing to the eye. This is a key area that should differentiate us from our competitors.
Waste/loss management - Minimize food waste through date control and management.
Customer Service - take an active role with customers as the cafe is an open kitchen environment.
All food safety requirements should be met and ensure we hit a 5-star food safety grade.
