HEAD CHEF – casual, fine dining restaurant – £35,000 –
This boutique hotel has recently been refurbished and they are now looking to launch their casual fine dining restaurant. The menus are modern British, and everything will be made in house using fresh, locally sourced produce.
The successful Head Chef will oversee a small brigade and have full autonomy over the menus. The emphasis will be on seasonal cuisine, utilising all the wonderful Sussex produce. Alongside the 40-cover restaurant they are also looking to build on their functions and weddings, which are starting to come through for next year.
As Head Chef you will have full control of the day to day running of the kitchen designing menus, sourcing suppliers, costing, stock control and managing, leading, and motivating your team.
Having survived through the pandemic with a take- away service and emergency accommodation, they are now looking forward to opening the hotel and restaurant to local and travelling guests. It is an exciting time to join this forward-thinking team who have ambitious plans for the future.
