This lively award-winning gastro pub is currently seeking a creative and innovative Head Chef to take over the running of this busy, fast paced kitchen. It is an independent business, which is very much a destination venue with a superb food trade.
You should therefore have a real interest in current food trends and working with fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced produce. There is a brigade of 4 chefs preparing modern British cuisine with European influences.
During lockdown they have developed a kitchen garden where they grow their own vegetables, fruit, and herbs. They also encourage foraging so they can create a regularly changing menu, highlighting the seasonal changes.
As Head Chef you will have full responsibility for the day to day running of the kitchen designing menus, sourcing suppliers, stock control, ordering and training and motivating your team. Alongside this the ideal candidate will have good business acumen and excellent man- management skills.
