CHEF DE PARTIE – high end restaurant – £27,000 + tips -
An exciting opportunity to be involved from the inception of this high end, casual dining restaurant. Initially the project will focus on the 75-cover restaurant and cocktail bar. However, there are plans to develop the gardens, installing a further kitchen and bar to cater for guests outside during the warmer months.
The emphasis here will be on the preparation of fresh, not overly complicated cuisine using locally sourced, seasonal produce. This will include a good range of vegetarian and vegan menus too. Working alongside the Head Chef and the Sous Chef you will have plenty of opportunity to influence the menus, which will change regularly to utilise the best Kent produce and keep customers returning.
The ideal Chef de Partie will have cooked with fresh, seasonal produce and have a good understanding of working within a busy, first-class kitchen. As this is a relatively new opening the successful Chef de Partie will have the opportunity to prepare superb, contemporary cuisine within a state-of-the-art kitchen. The Head Chef has an excellent career history so a thorough training on all sections is also guaranteed.
