This stunning restaurant and terrace are set within a beautiful wine estate with far reaching views. During Covid the team have been making improvements and developing the site, so now need a professional Head Chef to oversee the smooth running of the kitchen operation.
There will be a more formal service in the restaurant showcasing the Head Chefs contemporary British cuisine. The food offering will have an emphasis on local produce, with many herbs and vegetables grown on the estate. They also rear their own meat which will come to the kitchen as a whole carcass with a view to using everything.
The large terrace will be open during the summer months and the service will be more relaxed, although the highest level of customer service will still be expected throughout the establishment. There will also be wine tastings, private dining, and the occasional function. The menu here will be small dishes and sharing plates, again championing all the best produce from garden of Kent.
Alongside this there is a delicatessen and Garden Café offering teas, coffee, cakes, and light lunches. This is a new operation with great plans to eventually open a first-class food hall.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a high-end restaurant, understand the importance of the customer journey, creating joy from the moment they arrive. They will also require excellent man-management skills, training, mentoring, and inspiring the brigade to make a great working atmosphere where everyone can thrive.
