An exciting opportunity to join a small, independently owned hotel. This family run business has flourished over the years, expanding, and developing their food offering and gaining plenty of awards and accolades along the way.
After several happy years at the hotel their current Sous Chef is relocating, and they are now looking for an equally talented and committed Sous Chef to take their place.
With a brigade of 7 chefs, you will be catering for the award-winning brasserie restaurant, the lounge bar and small function facilities. The menus are modern European, and everything is prepared from fresh, seasonal produce, all locally sourced where possible.
The successful Sous Chef will assist the head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen designing the menus, sourcing suppliers, training, developing, and motivating the staff. With an ambitious management team, they are always looking to develop the business further and will offer their full support.
Due to this excellent reputation, they have built up for fine food and premium drinks it is an extremely busy establishment so previous experience of cooking first class cuisine, in a high-volume kitchen will be essential.
