Sous Chef – modern British restaurant – straight shifts – 45 hour week -
A modern British restaurant and bar with a lovely garden and 8 letting rooms. They are a well-established and successful business catering for 60 covers in both the restaurant and bar.
There is a brigade of 4 chefs plus KP’s, lead by an extremely talented Head Chef with 3 AA Rosette background. They prepare fresh, seasonal menus, utilising all the wonderful local produce available to them. Everything is made from scratch in house and the standards are very high.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about cooking with fresh, seasonal produce and have previous experience within a similar environment. As Sous Chef you will be and integral part of the team and involved in menus design, stock control, ordering, staff training and development and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly in the Head Chefs absence.
