This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated professionals who have opened this beautifully refurbished high end, casual dining restaurant. The restaurant and cocktail bar have 70 seats and there are a further 70 seats in the outside garden, complete with kitchen, for the warmer months. The service style is customer focussed and friendly to accompany the great food created by the award winning chef, using the best of local and seasonal produce. The emphasis is on the guest experience, and they have quickly built a solid clientele.
My client is looking for a charismatic leader to manage the floor and support the General Manager in the day to day running of the restaurant. A typical day will see you running shifts, handling bookings and mentoring staff. Your role can be broad and will include planning events, guest relations, social media, and supervising reception. You will have had restaurant experience at supervisor level or above and enjoy the buzz of service, be enthusiastic about food and wine and be a positive and unflappable hospitality professional.
The hours will be 40 – 45 a week and you will work 5 days out of 7. The salary will be a basic of £25,000 plus tronc and a three-month review.
