A stunning property where they cater for an extremely popular bar, the restaurant and further seating on the terrace and in the garden for the warmer months. This is a very successful and well-established business and due to their continued development they are looking for an extremely talented Head Pastry Chef to join the team.
Working closely with the Head Chef you will be an integral part of the brigade and responsible for designing a creative pastry menu to impress your guests. Through lockdown they have had the opportunity to put in place a designated pastry area with all new equipment including a rational oven. So, there will be plenty of opportunity to showcase your skills and develop contemporary, show stopping desserts.
With a brigade of 10-12 chefs, they prepare modern British cuisine with International influences and everything including the pasta, bread and ice cream is made in house. Where possible the produce is all sourced from local farms and artisan businesses and the menus change regularly to make use of the best seasonal produce available.
The restaurant is busy throughout the week and weekends so previous experience within a high volume, fast paced kitchen will be essential along with a real passion for cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
