SOUS CHEF – great working environment –
An independent pub and dining room with a beautiful garden overlooking the South Downs. This thriving business is currently looking for a Sous Chef to support the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen.
There is a stable brigade of 4-5 chefs and they prepare a British menu with Mediterranean influences. Everything is made in house and the successful candidate will be involved with menu creation, along with stock control, ordering and staff training and motivation.
They are constantly evolving and have plans to develop an outside kitchen to cater for guests in the warmer months and also have several letting rooms.
The ideal Sous Chef will have previous experience within a busy, fresh food kitchen and be looking for a role where they can develop their skills in all aspects of being a senior chef.
