This lovely four star hotel is renowned locally for its superb hospitality and customer service. To ensure this continues they are seeking an Assistant Conference and Events Manager to support the General Manager with the day to day running of the hotel. There are two restaurants, the bar and several conference and banqueting suites, which are very popular for large functions and weddings. We are looking for a hospitality professional who is able to manage various events and functions within the hotel to ensure they run smoothly and guests receive the highest level of service and guest satisfaction. You will become part of the duty management team which will include responding to guest queries and complaints, making sure all departments are properly staffed and performing in line with hotel expectations and checking the hotel is presentable both inside and out. This is an exciting and challenging role where no two days will be the same, so the ideal candidate will have had previous experience with a 4 star hotel and feel passionately about delivering the highest standard of customer service. There is flexibility within the team and applications are welcome from experienced Supervisors looking to take their next step in their career, or for an experienced Assistant Manager who is looking for a change of scenery and is looking for an opportunity to make the next step to Conference and Banqueting Manager.
