Junior Sous Chef – popular village pub – great training – package up to £34,000 -
This privately owned, thriving village pub has a popular restaurant, beautiful garden and several letting rooms. Since reopening in April, they have seen a real increase in business and are now looking for an enthusiastic Junior Sous Chef to strengthen the team. It will be a full-time role working shifts including evening, weekends and bank holidays.
You will be a member of a small, busy, fun team, hands on in all areas of the kitchen. They prepare modern British menus and everything is made in house including some bread and ice cream. The produce is sourced locally with whole carcasses of meat delivered from their farm and the menus change regularly to reflect the seasons. There is a talented team of chefs who will offer plenty of support and a superb training.
The pub and restaurant are extremely busy, so previous experience within a similar environment would be beneficial, along with a real love of cooking with fresh, seasonal produce.
