HEAD CHEF – 40 hour week – some evenings off –
This well established golf club has been part of the community for over 100 years and welcomes members, guests and golfers looking to enjoy their magnificent 18 hole golf course.
The clubhouse has a popular bar and restaurant open seven days a week and serving food from 11am to 5pm. Alongside this they also cater for a variety of functions and society events. There is a bar menu during the day and a more refined menu for the banqueting.
With a small team they prepare everything in house using fresh, seasonal produce and this is all sourced as locally as possible. The successful Head Chef will have full control of the day to day running of the kitchen, designing the menus, costing, stock control, ordering and ensuring all health, hygiene and safety procedures are in place and being adhered to.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a professional kitchen at a senior level, be capable of managing, training and motivating the team and have a flexible approach to their work.
