SOUS CHEF – fantastic opportunity - £35,000 –
A privately owned and run coaching inn with an excellent reputation for their fabulous food and hospitality. With an extremely talented Head Chef running the kitchen, they are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join the team.
There is a brigade of 3 chefs and a KP catering for an average of 60-80 covers a day. They prepare fresh, seasonal menus and everything is made in house using the finest fresh produce. As Sous Chef you will be involved in all aspects of the day to day running of the kitchen. This will include contributing ideas for the menus, costing, stock control, ordering, staff management and training.
The ideal candidate will be a creative chef who thoroughly enjoys cooking and has a real passion for the hospitality industry. It is a busy, fast paced kitchen, so previous experience within a similar environment would be beneficial, but not essential as they are happy to train and develop the right person. The main criteria is finding a real team player with a love for preparing fresh, seasonal cuisine.
