GENERAL MANAGER – popular, British pub – fresh, seasonal menus -
An award-winning gastro pub that has built up an excellent reputation for their fresh, seasonal menus and fine Kentish ales and wines. Having reopened in April, they are experiencing new levels of busy and the owners are now seeking a General Manager to take over the day to day running of the pub and restaurant.
It is a well-established business with a steady trade all year round consisting of many regulars and day trippers visiting the historical sights locally. The location is beautiful and there is a lovely garden with further seating for the warmer months. It is a live out role so your own transport would be essential.
The ideal candidate will need to have previous management experience within a similar fresh food environment and be used to running a busy, high volume service. This will be a hands on role overseeing 20 staff and ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times. Other duties will include taking care of all the relevant paperwork and procedures, cellar management, staff development, motivation and rotas and dealing with all customer enquiries.
