SOUS CHEF - high volume country pub - £30,000 + tips -
A lovely country inn with a large garden and a very popular restaurant. This well established business is always busy and having reopened their large garden are looking forward to welcoming back their loyal clientele.
Due to their continued success they are now looking to strengthen the team with a talented Sous Chef. There is a brigade of 4 chefs preparing modern British cuisine. They use all fresh seasonal produce and source as much as possible locally. It is a fast paced, high volume kitchen, so previous experience within a similar environment would be a definite advantage.
As Sous Chef you will have the opportunity to assist the Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen and be involved in menu design, stock control, ordering, training the junior members of the team and ensuring all health, safety and hygiene procedures are in place.
The ideal candidate will have previously held a Sous Chef position, be passionate about cooking with fresh produce and be looking for a long-term position.
