An award winning, unique venue with several beautiful letting rooms. Here they cater for a 60-cover a la carte restaurant and a variety of weddings and functions. Not content with their current success, they are looking at new and exciting ways to develop the business and have further plans for expansion in the future.
There is a very talented Head Chef and he is looking to recruit a professional and creative Sous Chef to assist with the day to day running of the kitchen. The ethos is great quality cuisine, straightforward, no frills where you will utilise all the fantastic fresh, local produce on offer in the area. The menus are essentially British with International influences to keep them exciting.
You will be part of a brigade of 6 chefs and be involved in menu design for both the restaurant and functions, stock control, ordering and training and mentoring the junior members of the team. This is a very busy establishment where no two days are the same.
So previous experience within a similar environment will be essential along with a real passion for working with fresh, seasonal and locally sourced produce.
