CHEF DE PARTIE/JUNIOR SOUS - British Pub –
A traditional British pub with roaring fires in the winter and outside seating for the summer. Here they also have a popular restaurant which serves fresh, seasonal menus.
Despite recent events in the world, they have remained busy, open for take-aways during the lockdown and now preparing for the reopening of outside spaces in April. Due to this continued success, they are looking for a professional Chef de Partie/Junior Sous Chef to strengthen their team and support the Head Chef.
There is a brigade of 3 chefs in the kitchen preparing a variety of menus and everything except the bread and ice cream is made in house using fresh produce, which is all locally sourced wherever possible. The Head Chef is very talented, so you will receive an excellent training on the kitchen management as well as the cooking and menu design.
As Chef de Partie/Junior Sous you will also be involved in all aspects of running the kitchen contributing ideas for the menus, stock control, ordering and ensuring all health and hygiene procedures are adhered to.
The ideal candidate will have had previous experience within a similar environment, love working with fresh, seasonal produce and thoroughly enjoy their work as a Chef.
