HEAD CHEF – fresh food pub –
This independently run country pub is in a stunning location and has a beautiful garden for the summer months. They have built up a very successful business and are currently looking to expand on this, so as a result are looking for a talented Head Chef to join the team.
There is a brigade of 5 chefs and 2 full-time K.P’s preparing fresh, seasonal menus. These include a mix of both modern and traditional British with some International influences. Everything is made in house and where possible they source their produce locally.
As Head Chef you will be involved in all aspects of the day to day running of the kitchen including menu design, costing, stock control, ordering, managing, training and motivating the junior members of the team. This is a high volume, fast paced kitchen so experience within a similar establishment would be essential.
Ideally, they are looking for a Head Chef who is happy working alongside the owners initially with a view to taking on more responsibility as the business grows. Currently the pub is open for take away food only, but they are optimistic business will be thriving once restrictions are lifted.
