SOUS CHEF – fresh, seasonal cuisine – £27,000 + tips
An opportunity has arisen for a talented Sous Chef to join this very popular gastro pub. Part of a small independently owned group this restaurant has gone from strength to strength and due to their success they are now looking to increase the brigade.
There will be a team of 6 professional chefs preparing modern British cuisine with International influences. They make everything in house using fresh, seasonal produce and where possible this is sourced locally. As Sous Chef you will be involved in menu design, costing, stock control, ordering, training and developing the junior chefs and ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to.
The ideal candidate will have had previous experience at a senior level and worked within a high volume, fast paced kitchen. A knowledge and passion for cooking with fresh seasonal produce would be desirable too.
