SOUS CHEF – fresh, seasonal menus – busy kitchen –
This popular village pub and dining room is looking for a talented Sous Chef to assist with the day to day running of the kitchen. It is part of a small independently owned group of pubs each with their own special identity.
At this site there is a brigade of 6 chefs preparing modern British cuisine with International influences. Everything is made in house using fresh, seasonal produce and there is an emphasis on using locally sourced and artisan produce too.
As Sous Chef you will be involved in menu design, costing, stock control, ordering, maintaining all health, safety and hygiene procedures along with training and motivating your brigade.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a good quality, busy establishment and have the ability and maturity to lead the team in the Head Chefs absence.
