SOUS CHEF - busy pub and dining room - £35,000 –
This popular pub and restaurant is currently seeking a hands on Sous Chef to assist with the day to day running of the kitchen. They prepare modern British cuisine with European influences and everything is made in house. The menus change regularly and there is an emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients.
The ideal Sous Chef will have held a senior role within a high volume, fresh food kitchen and have a real passion for cooking. There will be plenty of opportunity for you to develop the menus and contribute to the further success of this busy establishment.
They have a talented brigade in place so they are looking for a Sous Chef with great man management skills that can train, motivate and mentor the team to ensure their development continues. Other duties will include stock control, ordering, maintaining the health, hygiene and safety procedures and full control of the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence.
