Due to an internal promotion this very successful village pub is looking for a talented Head Chef to take over the day to day running of the kitchen. It is part of a small independently owned group of pubs each with their own special identity.
At this site there is a brigade of 6 chefs preparing modern British cuisine with International influences. Everything is made in house using fresh, seasonal produce and there is an emphasis on using locally sourced and artisan produce too.
As Head Chef you will be responsible for menu design, costing, stock control, ordering, maintaining all health, safety and hygiene procedures along with recruitment, training and motivation of your brigade.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a good quality, busy establishment and have the ability and maturity to run a profitable kitchen.
