CHEF DE PARTIE – straight shifts – no late finishes – work 1 weekend in 3 -
This private school with its own in house caterers is currently seeking a talented Chef de Partie to strengthen the brigade. This is not typical school catering as the standards are incredibly high and as much as possible made from fresh produce. So previous experience within a fresh food kitchen will be essential along with NVQ level 1 & 2 or the equivalent.
Working within a brigade of 6 you will have the opportunity to cover all sections of the kitchen and input your ideas onto the menus. Ideally they are looking for an imaginative and creative chef with plenty of enthusiasm for their work. A Chef who takes a genuine interest in the latest food trends and is keen to learn and develop their skills.
The hours are straight 8-9 hour shifts between 6.30am and 7.30pm, no late finishes unless there is a function and one weekend worked within three. Other benefits include a generous salary, meals on duty, uniforms provided and use of their leisure facilities.
