This lively award-winning gastro pub is currently seeking a creative Sous Chef with plenty of enthusiasm and a real passion for cooking with fresh, seasonal produce.
Benefits include many straight shifts, 40-50 hour week and amazing tips of approximately £5-6,000 per annum!
This is an independent business, which is very much a destination pub and restaurant with a superb food trade. You should therefore have a real interest in working with fresh, seasonal produce. Previous experience within a first class, professional kitchen will be essential.
As Sous Chef you will be overseeing a brigade of 4-5 chefs, training and motivating your team to get the best out of them. Other duties will involve contributing ideas for the menus, stock control, ordering and ensuring all health, hygiene and safety procedures are in place.
This is a live out position and due to the pubs rural location, you would require your own transport, although you are only a few miles from a large town, with excellent amenities.
