SOUS CHEF – first class hotel –
A contemporary hotel with an award winning restaurant and lovely function facilities for a variety of weddings, private dinners and parties.
Due to an internal promotion there is a great opportunity for a talented Sous Chef to join this professional brigade of ten chefs. The menus are a mix of both modern and classical French with European influences and everything is made in house. Where possible they source local produce and change the menus regularly to reflect the seasons.
To be part of this forward thinking team you will have had previous experience at rosette level and be able to assist with the running of this first class kitchen. You will be involved with the menu planning, costing, stock control, ordering, staff training and motivation and all health, safety and hygiene procedures.
This would be an ideal role for an ambitious and committed Senior Chef de Partie/Junior Sous Chef as there is an excellent Head Chef who is happy to train and mentor the right person. Other benefits include a generous salary and superb career prospects within the company.
