SOUS CHEF – beautiful village pub – accommodation available –
An independently owned and run pub, building an excellent reputation for their food. Following a recent refurbishment they can now offer a bar, an informal restaurant and a dining room.
With a small team they prepare traditional pub classics and everything is made in house using fresh, seasonal produce. Due to the success of the business they are looking for a strong Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen.
As Sous Chef you will be involved in menu design, stock control, ordering and full responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence. Other duties will include staff management and training and ensuring all health, hygiene and safety procedures are in place.
In return for your hard work and dedication they are offering a salary of £24,000 + approximately £5,000 tips a year, plenty of opportunity for you to grow as a Chef and develop your management skills.
