A destination country pub and restaurant with an excellent reputation for their fine food. This is a very busy establishment that is currently looking for a talented Sous Chef to assist with the day to day running of this quality, fresh food kitchen.
Independently owned and managed the Chefs have full autonomy over the menus. There is an emphasis on the use of seasonal produce, all organic and locally sourced where possible. With a brigade of 4 chefs they cater for the popular, 70 cover restaurant and further seating in the garden during the summer months.
They also have space in the grounds for parties, weddings and BBQ’s, which is an area of the business they would possibly like to expand upon.
As Sous Chef you will be involved in menu design, sourcing suppliers, stock control, ordering, training and developing your team to ensure a happy working environment.
