Café Chef – daytime hours - £18,000 + tips – fresh, seasonal cuisine –
A contemporary café operation in a town centre location. This stylish café is independently owned and offers a choice of fresh, seasonal cuisine.
The emphasis here is on simple, well prepared food where the quality of the ingredients speak for themselves. There is a small team preparing breakfast and lunch for up to 120 covers a day at the weekends.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the day to day running of this fast paced kitchen. This will include assisting with menu design, stock control, ordering andmaintaining all health and hygiene procedures.
Previous experience within a similar environment would be beneficial along with some knowledge of baking, although an excellent training can be offered to someone with less experience.
The hours will be between 8am to 5pm, 5 days out of 7 on a rota and will include weekends.
