SOUS CHEF – freshly sourced ingredients – career development
Our client has a small collection of independently owned pubs and is developing the portfolio giving excellent opportunities for career progression.
The delightful menus are produced from fresh locally sourced ingredients, prepared and cooked to order.
As a Sous Chef you will be required to be friendly, communicate well to others in the kitchen and be confident to manage in the Head Chefs absence. Everything is from scratch so the model Sous Chef will love working with fresh food and developing new dishes.
You will be responsible for training and progressing the junior chefs, managing the wage objectives, ordering, stock control and meeting and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and health and safety across all areas of the kitchen.
In return they are offering a package of £30-£34k with paid overtime, and further company benefits including chef whites, meals on duty and a Simply Health cash plan which includes a discounted local gym membership
