This popular and well established gastro pub has an excellent reputation for their fine food and excellent service. Due to this success they are seeking a talented and professional Sous Chef to assist with the day to day running of this busy, fast paced kitchen.
The emphasis is on using top quality, fresh produce to prepare simple, modern British and European cuisine. Second within a brigade of 7 chefs you will be a crucial part of the team. Your duties will involve assisting the Head Chef with menu design, costing, stock control, ordering, managing and mentoring the team and ensuring a happy and profitable kitchen.
Although company owned you will be encouraged to put forward ideas for the menus and have the opportunity to work with fresh, seasonal produce, which is locally sourced where possible.
