JUNIOR SOUS CHEF - £28,000 – fast paced, fresh food kitchen -
A contemporary and independently run restaurant with several private dining rooms. This successful business is well established and extremely busy and due to this popularity they are looking to strengthen the team.
There is a very talented Head Chef who is currently seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef to assist with all aspects of running this first class kitchen.
There is a brigade of 13 chefs preparing some exciting, innovative British cuisine which has won a variety of awards and accolades. They make everything in house using fresh, seasonal produce which is sourced as locally as possible.
The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and also has a couple of function rooms for private parties and dinners. As it is open all day they offer 8 shifts over 4 days and 3 days off a week.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a professional kitchen where they prepare fresh, seasonal cuisine and be capable on all sections of the kitchen. Other duties will include assisting with the menu design, costing, stock control, ordering, staff management and training and ensuring all health and hygiene procedures are adhered to.
