HEAD CHEF – country pub - £40,000 – fresh food –
This beautiful country pub is currently undergoing a major refurbishment and is due to open in time for the Christmas festivities. So they are currently looking for a talented Head Chef who can join them now and assist with the opening preparations.
The successful Head Chef will be involved in designing menus, sourcing suppliers, recruiting their dedicated team of chefs and putting systems in place to ensure a smooth operation. The menus are modern British with International influences and have an emphasis on the use of fresh, seasonal cuisine, locally sourced where possible.
The pub is part of an award winning group and although company owned there is still plenty of scope to input your own ideas on the menus and run your own kitchen. Although there is plenty of support, guidance and training should it be required.
The ideal Head Chef will feel passionately about cooking with fresh, seasonal produce, have plenty of experience within a fast paced, high volume kitchen and enjoy the challenges of training and mentoring the junior members of the team.
