SOUS CHEF - £28,000 – superb hotel –
This stylish, award winning hotel is currently seeking a talented Sous Chef to assist with the day to day running of the kitchen. They have recently recruited an excellent Head Chef who has great plans for developing both the kitchen and the menus. They cater for the a la carte restaurant, the conservatory and bar and extensive function facilities for up to 200 covers.
There is a brigade of 7 chefs preparing modern European cuisine for the restaurant and a variety of menus for the parties, weddings and society events. Everything is made in house using fresh, seasonal produce and where possible this will be sourced locally.
As Sous Chef you will be involved in designing menus, costings, stock control, ordering and running a profitable happy kitchen. The ideal candidate will have previously held a senior position within a fresh food kitchen and feel passionately about cooking along with managing all the relevant paperwork, health, hygiene and safety procedures and motivating and training the team to get the best out of them.
