A great opportunity has arisen for a talented Pastry Chef to join this prestigious hotel kitchen. Here they cook for a variety of catering outlets including the award winning a la carte restaurant, the lounge bar and large conference and banqueting facilities.
With a brigade of 10 chefs they prepare modern British cuisine with International influences and everything is made in house to a very high standard. They use fresh, seasonal produce to provide the same level of dining throughout the hotel.
As Pastry Chef you will have full responsibility for the section, designing the menus along with the Exec Chef, costing, stock control, ordering and training the junior members of the team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a first class, high volume kitchen, feel passionately about maintaining a superb level of cuisine and have plenty of creative ideas to bring with them.
