SOUS CHEF - £27,0000 + live in – aiming for awards – one weekend off a month -
This superb, independently run gastro pub has an excellent reputation for their fine cuisine and with a very talented Head Chef at the helm they are now looking to go further. So ideally they are looking for an experienced Sous Chef who can support the head Chef in all aspects of running this first class kitchen.
With a brigade of 3 chefs they prepare a modern British menu with International influences and everything including the bread and ice cream is made in house. The suppliers are carefully sourced to provide the best seasonal produce available and where possible this is found locally.
The Head Chef has an excellent career history within award winning restaurants, so there will be plenty of opportunity to learn and develop as a Chef. Being a small team your creative input will be welcomed and you will be involved in all aspects of running this busy kitchen, including menu design, stock control, ordering, staff training and full responsibility in the Head Chefs absence.
