A large coaching inn with a very popular restaurant and bar. Currently this successful group of pubs is expanding in the South East and as a result are looking for a Junior Sous Chef for this busy site.
The emphasis is on using high quality, fresh produce to prepare simple, modern British cuisine with International influences. Working within a brigade of 7 chefs you will have the opportunity to cover all sections of the kitchen and will also be involved in menu planning, stock control, ordering and training the junior members of staff.
Due to the popularity and success of the pubs they are very busy, so previous experience within a high volume kitchen would be an advantage. The ideal candidate will also need to have a good knowledge of working with fresh, seasonal produce and have a real passion for cooking.
